suddenly, almost, nearly

Suddenly, almost, nearly tells the story of a night in the life of poet and artist Johnny Limerick. Fatigued by years of world travel and hard living, he longs to settle down and lead a healthy life, but finds that old habits are hard to break. Set against the backdrop of a quaint bungalow in downtown Austin, Texas, we follow Johnny as he drinks beer, discusses life with friends, navigates the opening moves of a possible love affair, and struggles with his apparent inability to thrive - and keep his sanity - as an artist within the confines of society.

Scout McComb lives in Austin, Texas. This is his second novel.
